چکیده

Passive and Active Compensability Multicriteria ANalysis (PACMAN) is a multiple criteria methodology based on a decision maker oriented notion of compensation, called compensability. An important feature of PACMAN is a possible asymmetry of the connected decision procedure, since compensability is determined for each ordered pair of criteria, distinguishing the compensating criterion from the compensated one. Here we give a notion of implementation of PACMAN, which allows a concrete modelization of a multiple criteria decision problem. We study regular implementations of PACMAN and their monotonicity properties. We also examine several regular implementations, which satisfy some additional properties. Particular emphasis is given to a regular implementation of PACMAN that produces the lexicographic ordering. 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Pacman Heart as a Congenital Cardiac Defect Associated with Flail Mitral Valve and a Partial form of Shone\'s Complex; A Case Report

Partial muscular inter-ventricular septal defect (VSD) or Pacman heart is a rare congenital or occasionally acquired anomaly. Concurrent Pacman heart and Shone's complex are extremely rare and have never been reported until now. We described a 37-year-old male patient with congenital Pacman heart, flail mitral valve (FMV), and a history of multiple congenital anomalies, including subvalvular ao...

CS188 – Introduction to Artificial Intelligence

Question 1 (Class) – Expectiminimax – Saving Suicidal Pacman! You will see during your assignment that pacman is sometimes suicidal when doing a minimax search because of its worst‐case analysis. We will build here a small expectimax tree (there is no min node, hence the name) to see the difference in behavior. Consider the following rules for pacman (a bit more restrictive than in Project 2):...

Xrn1/Pacman affects apoptosis and regulates expression of hid and reaper

Programmed cell death, or apoptosis, is a highly conserved cellular process that is crucial for tissue homeostasis under normal development as well as environmental stress. Misregulation of apoptosis is linked to many developmental defects and diseases such as tumour formation, autoimmune diseases and neurological disorders. In this paper, we show a novel role for the exoribonuclease Pacman/Xrn...

RNA-seq reveals post-transcriptional regulation of Drosophila insulin-like peptide dilp8 and the neuropeptide-like precursor Nplp2 by the exoribonuclease Pacman/XRN1.

Ribonucleases are critically important in many cellular and developmental processes and defects in their expression are associated with human disease. Pacman/XRN1 is a highly conserved cytoplasmic exoribonuclease which degrades RNAs in a 5'-3' direction. In Drosophila, null mutations in pacman result in small imaginal discs, a delay in onset of pupariation and lethality during the early pupal s...

A linear implementation of PACMAN

PACMAN (Passive and Active Compensability Multicriteria ANalysis) is a multiple criteria methodology based on a decision maker oriented notion of compensation, called compensability. A basic step of PACMAN is the construction of compensatory functions, which model intercriteria relations for each pair of criteria on the basis of compensability. In this paper we examine a simplified version of P...
